The International Women's Day that is observed on 8th March every year is an attempt to blur the lines of the Gender binary as well as gender Bias, challenge gender-based stereotyping, abolish gender specific denial of rights, condemn gender based iniquities, and above all to celebrate the concept of femmehood and to laud the individuals falling in the femme spectrum who have shown extraordinary grit and perseverance in achieving their biggest goals despite all odds

This is our Day, Our Age as we speak without fear, never bend down to petty minds and convoluted standards and yet continue to thrive

The Bicycle symbolises Emancipation in so many ways. So Calling upon all the Wonderful cyclists to participate in a very special ride dedicated to femmehood and our Emancipation in its truest sense, on Sunday, 6th March 2022.

Calling upon all people making a move against inequality, misogyny and oppression that is faced in this modern day and age to participate

Is it an in person event?

Yes it is.

Are rental cycles available? If yes, what type of cycles?

Yes, rental cycles are available on first come first serve basis. These are hybrid/MTB type of cycles

What is the event registration cost?

It is Rs. 49 (including 18% GST) If you are opting for rental cycles, the registration cost is Rs. 149 (including 18% GST)

Can we peel off after the gathering at Vivekanandar Illam or is it compulsory to ride back to the ride start point?

It is advisable for the riders to complete the whole ride by riding back to the start point, to signify the event and also have the benefit of having a light breakfast and receiving the memento.

If we need to return early can we leave the gathering point early to the ride start point to receive ride memento?

People will be there at the store. So anyone wants to leave early can do so.

Is it mandatory to start and finish the ride at the same store?

If they finish at same store it's better as refreshments will be planned accordingly.

Any support given for slow riders or for those who don’t know the route?

Yes, there will be volunteers to guide the riders throughout the ride.

Can male riders join the ride?

Yes, male riders can join the ride, but registration is mandatory.

Terms and Conditions -

• Helmet is mandatory
• Roads are not closed for traffic. Follow all the traffic rules at all points of time
• Riders are responsible for their own safety
• Rental cycles are available on first come first serve basis. Helmet will be provided for the rental cycles
• Follow all the government laid down covid norms ensuring to wear mask, maintaining social distancing.
