Freedom 125km Ride

Celebrate this summer aboard your trusty saddle with the Freedom 125 Km ride!

Did you think April in Chennai or in other places is all dust, heat and sweat? Here’s your chance to get your facts right!  Catch a glimpse of the golden sunrise on the eastern coast, that looks especially spectacular after the dreary rain and winter months, savor the sheer burst of colors as trees sprout fresh foliage and flowers blossom in a million hues.

All you need to do is to do a 125km ride on any of the 3 days - April 26th or 27th or 28th in any of your favorite route from any part of the world. Track the ride using Strava and all finishers would get a beautiful hex finisher badge.

Do I need to do the event as a single ride of 125km?

Yes, it needs to be done as a single ride of 125km on any of the 3 days - Friday (26th April) or Saturday (27th April) or Sunday (28th April).

Will split rides be allowed?

No, split rides are not considered. For example, riding 60km in morning and 65km in the evening etc. will not be considered.

How will the finish be tracked?

Just map your strava with Chennai cyclists ID. That should be good enough and our volunteers would track your finish of 125km.

Are manual entries considered?

Nope, manual entries in Strava is not considered

Are virtual rides on trainers considered?

Nope, trainer rides are not considered

When will the finisher list and finisher badge be distributed?

The final finisher list will be published in first week of May and finisher badges would be distributed by end of May.

Note: Tracking your rides using STRAVA is MANDATORY which would help us track your progress automatically. Ensure that your strava is linked with in Chennai Cyclists website.
