Enduro Series - Fortitude 333km Ride

We are excited to bring you the 2nd season of "WCCG Enduro Series", and the second ride of the series is, Fortitude 333kms - Veedur.

This ride's route is perfectly crafted for all new entrants, who wants to clock beyond 300km, with a style and as well as for seasoned long-distance riders, who wants combination of elevation and speed.

At the end of this ride, you will definitely feel refreshed, for the reason that, you have ridden through along the coast of the Bay of Bengal - East Costal Road, scenic Auroville road leads to Veedur Dam and connects the Grand Southern Trunk road and reach Chennai.

Veedur Dam – Built in 1958, lies between Chennai – Villupuram. This Dam reservoir full fills 1.5 Lakhs acre of farmland’s water requirement. Date – 17th September, Saturday.

Start Time - 17th September, 05:00AM

Cut off Time - 22:50 hours

End Time - 18th September, 03:30AM

Note : The ride is entirely Self Supported. We suggest, not to break your momentum by posing for locals selfies/picture request and lookout for your safety first, while getting down on road.
When in entering to villages, kindly fill up your rations on highways or at checkpoints.

Registration Fee - Rs. 444 (Including 18% GST)

Minimum eligibility for participation in the ride - Having completed a 200+km ride before

Mandatory for the ride

1. Printed Chennai Cyclist Rider ID tagged to your bicycles in front/back. You could generate it for yourself and print and tag it on your own, ID-Card
2. Helmet is mandatory
3. Powerful front light and red tail light is mandatory.
4. Reflective vest is mandatory.

Dont’s:

1. Aero bars shall not be used at any point of time.
2. Any rider who quit the ride shall not expect support from the volunteers. Only on medical emergencies, volunteers would be able to support. All volunteers are posted to support the riders who are continuing their ride.
3. On any situation, rider who missed CP time or rode the event without registration, should not claim their finishers badge.

Is there any time limit for completing the 333km Ride?

Yes, 22.5 hours is the cut off time for the ride finish. Ride starts on Sept 17th 5 AM and the ride shall be finished next day 18th Sept by 03.30 AM.

Is it a physical in person event?

Yes, all riders have to physically report to starting point and ride in the planned route. The event is not virtual

Are there any age limit for participating in this ride?

Yes, only riders above the age of 18 is allowed
