Enduro Series - Persistence 444km Ride

This route blends natural beauty, spirituality, and history, offering a captivating journey through rolling terrain, scenic landscapes, and iconic landmarks.

Starting from JBC Anna Nagar, the ride escapes the city's bustle, diving into the magic at Thiruthani, home to the sacred Murugan Temple, one of Lord Murugan’s six divine abodes. The route then passes through Arakkonam, known for INS Rajali, and scenic countryside, giving a glimpse of the Temple City of Kanchipuram before cruising towards the picturesque Palar River Bridge at Ranipet.

With expected tailwinds aiding the journey, the route leads to Arunachaleshwar Temple in Thiruvannamalai, a landmark of devotion. After dinner, the adventure continues to the historic Gingee Fort, known as the “Troy of the East”. Finally, the ride culminates at Amma Kadai in Tindivanam before heading back through the rolling terrain of GST Road to JBC Anna Nagar, completing a journey filled with awe and achievement.

Minimum eligibility for participation in the ride - Having completed a 200+km ride before

Mandatory for the ride

1. Printed Chennai Cyclist Rider ID tagged to your bicycles in front/back. You could generate it for yourself and print and tag it on your own, ID-Card
2. Helmet is mandatory
3. Powerful front light and red tail light is mandatory.
4. Reflective vest is mandatory.

Dont’s:

1. Aero bars shall not be used at any point of time.
2. Any rider who quit the ride shall not expect support from the volunteers. Only on medical emergencies, volunteers would be able to support. All volunteers are posted to support the riders who are continuing their ride.
3. On any situation, rider who missed CP time or rode the event without registration, should not claim their finishers badge.

Is there any time limit for completing the 444km Ride?

Yes, 30 hours is the cut off time for the ride finish.

What is the eligibility criteria to participate in 444km Ride?

The Rider should be physically fit and should have ridden 200+ kms in a single ride.

Is it a physical in person event?

Yes, all riders have to physically report to starting point and ride in the planned route. The event is not virtual

Are there any age limit for participating in this ride?

Yes, only riders above the age of 18 is allowed
