Enduro Series - Resilience 555km Ride: Yelagiri Classic 555

Chennai Cyclists proudly presents Yelagiri Classic 555 which is one of challenging endurance rides. This route takes you into lust green paddy fields of Kanchipuram, crossing Arcot via State Highway then it connects to Vellore - Ambur - Jolarpet. Here the climb starts towards Yelagiri and it's a short 14km route with 14 Hairpin Bends. You need to ride further 5km after reaching forest check post to Shalom Foundation where Drop Bag point is arranged and Lunch will be served. Riders can refresh and after a short nap they can continue their journey towards Thirupattur - Bargur and connect back on the National Highway for the return leg.

Just Buy cycles, Anna Nagar - Maduravoyal - Poonamallee - ORR - Vandalur - Padapai- Oragadam – Kanchipuram - via State Highway – Arcot – Vellore – Vaniyambadi – Yelagiri – Jolarpet – Thirupattur – Bargur & Return via same route through Vaniyambadi to Kanchipuram & Return to Just Buy Cycles,Anna Nagar.

Note - The ride is entirely Self Supported

Registration Fee - Rs. 999.00 (Including 18% GST)

Minimum eligibility for participation in the ride - Having completed a 400+km ride before

Mandatory for the Ride

1. Printed Chennai Cyclist Rider ID tagged to your bicycles in front/back. You could generate it for yourself and print and tag it on your own, ID-Card
2. Helmet is mandatory
3. Powerful front light and red taillight is mandatory.
4. Reflective vest is mandatory.

Dont’s:

1. Aero bars shall not be used at any point of time
2. Any rider who quit the ride shall not expect support from the volunteers. Only on medical emergencies, volunteers would be able to support. All volunteers are posted to support the riders who are continuing their ride
3. On any situation, rider who missed CP time or rode the event without registration, should not claim their finishers badge

Is there any time limit for completing the 555km Ride?

Yes, 37 hours 30 minutes is the cut off time for the ride finish.

Are there any age limit for participating in this ride?

Yes, only riders above the age of 18 is allowed
