The road race of this year's Rush Championship. It will be a handicap race.A handicap race is a road race where riders are given different start times to give riders of differing abilities have a similar chance of finishing the race at the same time.
Sample Pack Split: Timetaken for 100kms, Pack 1 : 4-5 Hours Pack 2 : 3.5-4 Hours Pack 3 : < 3.5 Hours
Tentative StartTime: Pack 1 : 5:30 AM Pack 2 : 6:00 AM Pack 3 : 6:30 AM
Final start times will be confirmed on Friday after registration closes on Thursday. Cut off Time 9:15 AM.
Registration closes at 10:00 PM on 9th December, Friday.The rider input and Average speed from latest participations will be taken into account before placing a rider in a particular Pack. Participartion in any one Time trial race in the last 3 months is mandatory. It can be any RUSH or MRC race for Chennai riders. For people outside Chennai any of their local amateur racing circuits is applicable. Participartion to be limited to 50 riders.
Points to be noted: ->It will be a flag off start , maintain Social distancing at Start point. -> Helmet is compulsory. -> Aero bars are not allowed. -> Race Director decision is final -> Always follow all traffic rules. - Winner - 5 points
- 1st Runner up - 4 points
- 2nd Runner up - 3 points
- Every rider who finishes the race will be awarded 1 point.
- Each rider must have participated in minimum 4 Races from Oct 2021 to May 2022 to be eligible for winning the championship trophy.
