WCCG brings to you the very first event of the season- the Tenacity 110. This is also the very first event in the Hex Badge Series of the new season.

The Tenacity 110 is a springboard for especially those of you who have started exploring and pushing your cycling limits further and further recently. It is also a great ride for seasoned Velociphiles who want to enjoy the Adrenalin rush with the simple 100+ distance.

The last 10 Km of any long ride are the most challenging ones, and we are going to give you the challenge of the additional 10 Km beyond That Coveted Century. 

The ride is planned through the picturesque green Thiruporur- Chengalpattu route, with gently increasing elevation. 

The Arulmigu Kandaswamy Temple of Thiruporur and the 115 Year old Heritage Structure of the E-6 Thiruporur Police Station are some notable locations en route to slow down, observe and perhaps get yourself clicked beside, along with you Trusty Bicycle

The ride route is every photographer's delight and a sight for sore eyes, providing the much needed inspiration to every rider to be Tenacious in riding this challenge to the finish!

Is there any time limit for completing the 110km Ride?

Nope, you can complete the 110km at your own pace. The volunteers will be available at the end point till 1pm. Do note - The pitstops has open and close timings which will be communicated in the detailed instructions email.

Is it a fully supported ride?

Yes, it is a fully supported ride with 3 pitstops with refreshments and breakfast + Mechanical support. Note - It would take some time for the mechanics to reach the spot and patience until then is appreciated.

Are virtual rides considered?

No, virtual rides are not considered. The event is an in person event.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BY ACCEPTING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM RELEASING "WE ARE CHENNAI CYCLING GROUP" AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, MEMBERS, SPONSORS, PROMOTERS AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY \"RELEASEES\") FROM LIABILITY. THIS ENTRY BLANK AND RELEASE IS A CONTRACT WITH LEGAL CONSEQUENCES. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCEPTING.

In consideration of the Releases, I hereby freely agree to and make the following contractual representations and agreements. I acknowledge that cycling can be an inherently dangerous sport and fully realize the dangers of participating in a riding the bicycle on highways and FULLY ASSUME THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH PARTICIPATION INCLUDING, by way of example, and not limitation, the following: the dangers of collision with pedestrians, vehicles, other riders, and fixed or moving objects; the dangers arising from surface hazards, equipment failure, inadequate safety equipment, THE RELEASEES' OWN NEGLIGENCE, and weather conditions; and the possibility of serious physical and/or mental trauma or injury associated with riding a bike. For myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, assignees, and successors in interest (collectively \"Successors\") I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE TO INDEMNIFY AND NOT TO SUE the Releases and the sponsors of this event, the organizer and any promoting organizations, property owners, law enforcement agencies, all public entities, special districts and properties, and their respective agents, officials, and employees through or by which the events will be held, (the foregoing are also collectively deemed to be Releasees), FROM ANY and all rights and CLAIMS INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE RELEASEES' OWN NEGLIGENCE, which I have or which may hereafter accrue to me and from any and all damages which may be sustained by me directly or indirectly in connection with, or arising out of, my participation in or association with the event, or travel to or return from the event.

I agree it is my sole responsibility to be familiar with the event course, the Release's rules, and any special regulations for the event. I understand and agree that situations may arise during the event which may be beyond the immediate control of the event officials or organizers, and I must continually ride/run so as to neither endanger myself nor others. I accept responsibility for the condition and adequacy of my competition equipment. I will compete wearing a helmet which satisfies the requirements of the Releases Racing Rules or Regulations and that can protect against serious head injury, and assume all responsibility and liability for the selection of such a helmet. I have no physical or medical condition which to my knowledge, would endanger myself or others if I participate in this event, or would interfere with my ability to participate in this event.

I agree, for myself and my successors, that the above representations are contractually binding, and are not mere recitals, and that should I or my successors assert my claim in contravention of this agreement, the asserting party shall be liable for the expenses (including legal fees) incurred by the other party or parties in defending, unless the other party or parties are finally adjudged liable on such claim for wilful and wanton negligence. This agreement may not be modified orally, and a waiver of any provision shall not be construed as a modification of any other provision herein or as consent to any subsequent waiver or modification.

Every term and provision of this agreement is intended to be severable. If any one or more of them is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that shall not affect the other terms and provisions, which shall remain binding and enforceable.
