The 2nd Edition of the “Chennai Cyclists Enduro Series” Big Ride is here – the mighty Ultimatum 1199. After the roaring success of our maiden event, we are back to test your endurance, spirit, and cycling passion with an epic journey across 3 states and 1 union territory – Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Puducherry. We roll out from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, under the late morning sun, with fresh energy and excitement. Soon, the wheels cross into Andhra Pradesh, where long highways and open stretches help you settle into rhythm before you approach the Karnataka border.

The real challenge begins with the legendary climb to Nandi Hills, a bucket-list ascent for every cyclist. From there, the route descends into the royal city of Mysuru, before heading into Kollegala and the thick forest climbs of the Malai Mahadeshwara Hills. These stretches are as demanding as they are rewarding, offering serene surroundings and quiet roads.

Back in Tamil Nadu, the landscape shifts again. You sweep past the massive Mettur Dam and the Cauvery River, push through Salem, and ride deep into the cultural heartland—Virudhachalam and Cuddalore—with their vibrant heritage and traditions.

The final twist comes as you enter Puducherry, where the coastal breeze and French charm of Pondicherry refresh your spirit for the homestretch. From there, it’s through Tindivanam and back to Chennai, completing the grand loop.

At the finish line, you’ll hold not just a medal but the pride of conquering 1199 km across four regions—a true test of endurance that only the strongest dare to attempt.

Registration Fee - Rs. 4000 (Including 18% GST)

Minimum eligibility for participation in the ride - Having completed a 555+km ride before

Mandatory for the Ride

1. Printed Chennai Cyclist Rider ID tagged to your bicycles in front/back. You could generate it for yourself and print and tag it on your own, ID-Card
2. Helmet is mandatory
3. Powerful front light and red taillight is mandatory.
4. Reflective vest is mandatory.

Dont’s:

1. Aero bars shall not be used at any point of time
2. Any rider who quit the ride shall not expect support from the volunteers. Only on medical emergencies, volunteers would be able to support. All volunteers are posted to support the riders who are continuing their ride
3. On any situation, rider who missed CP time or rode the event without registration, should not claim their finishers badge

Is there any time limit for completing the 1199km Ride?

Yes, 92 hours is the cut off time for the ride finish.

Are there any age limit for participating in this ride?

Yes, only riders above the age of 18 is allowed
